Hi there. I’m Sara. I am an educator, entrepreneur and writer. I like to think of myself as a “strategist” or “thought leader”. My skills lie in being able to envision future plans and make them happen. I am skilled at analyzing, critiquing, and proposing novel solutions.
I co-founded Elm International School in Alexandria, Egypt. I served as Education Director Jan 2013 – Dec 2018. I am working on a number of educational projects. Check the “projects” tab for the updated version.
I am currently a PhD student at TC, Columbia University in the Anthropology and Education program. I also hold an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from Harvard GSE (2017). My B.Sc. is in Computer Science (minoring in Psychology) from the American University in Cairo (2007). You can learn more by looking at “publications”.
