Hi there. I’m Sara. I’m an AI-augmented researcher and strategist working at the intersection of computer science, education, and anthropology. My work translates complex human behavior into decisions that scale.
I co-founded Elm International School in Alexandria, Egypt, where I served as Education Director from 2013 to 2018 and grew the school from 50 to 135 students. More recently, I founded The Parachute Project, an online mentorship platform that served 3,000+ students across NYU, Case Western Reserve, and SOKA University. Both were 0-to-1 builds. You can see current and past work under “projects.”
I hold a PhD in Anthropology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo. Publications, presentations, and decks are under “publications.”
From time to time, I share writing and reflections under “ponderings.”
